To Dream or Not to Dream:
The Hero’s Journey in Short Relief
With all there is to get done in any one moment (our personal, community and global to-do lists stagger the imagination) and all there is to distract us from attending to it (the same moment is a veritable mine-field of “pop-ups”) – how and why might we find time to dream? Join us for an hour on the side.
1 hour presentation for The Alliance Club of
The Universalist Unitarian Society of Sacramento
March 8, 2012.
Getting to Yes
Or: How To Raise a Child in Six Easy Lessons

Touching Down:
An Experiential Workshop for Senior Citizens
"To plant a foot firmly on earth – that is the ultimate achievement."
James Hillman, The Soul's Code
The art of growing old might be seen to be akin to landing a space ship and stepping out, as if for the first time, on solid ground. From where have you come, and what do you bring to this homecoming? This workshop will give you the opportunity to look at your journey from three different vantage points. The final class will feature a movie intended to provide perspective on, and celebration of, the larger voyage.*
Ethel Hart Senior Center, July 5, 2011
*Initially billed as a series of four 3-hour-session workshops, but due to printing error, was reincarnated as a one session, 3 hour workshop utilizing the metaphor of a journey from which to consider the later stations of life.
Parenting Through The Pass:
A Psycho-educational and Experiential Workshop for Separated and Divorcing Parents
Most parents would throw themselves in front of a truck to save their off-spring from harm, but they often feel helpless when it comes to saving their children from the wheels of divorce. This workshop helps parents move beyond conflict to a newly structured family life by providing skill-sets which allow them to stay tuned to their children's emotional and developmental needs. Offered on a cyclical basis. Contact me for a brochure, and information on the next scheduled series.
